A plastic moving bin is a rigid moulded container with an attached hinged lid, sized so an average adult can carry it when it is full. It replaces the cardboard box during a move: you pack into it, stack it, move it, unpack it, and hand it back.
Why the same thing has so many names
Different companies and different customers settled on different words. You will see moving bins, moving totes, moving crates, plastic moving boxes, reusable moving boxes and plastic moving containers. In practice these all describe the same category of product.
One caution on wording: moving container also refers to large PODS-style storage units that sit in a driveway. That is a different service entirely. When we say plastic moving container we mean the hand-carried bin.
What makes them different from cardboard

- Nest inside each other when empty, so they store flat-ish
- Rented for a period, then returned instead of thrown out
How renting works
You choose a package based on how much you own, we deliver the bins and dollies before your packing week, you pack and complete the move, and we collect the empty equipment afterward. We do not pack, load or transport belongings — the bins are the rental.
