Office relocations move a lot of the same things: files, supplies, desk contents, small equipment and kitchen items. Rental bins suit that work well because they stack evenly, close without tape and come back to us instead of ending up in the dumpster behind the suite.
Working out how many you need
A practical starting point is to count desks and storage units rather than square footage. Each workstation usually fills one to two bins, and each shared storage cabinet or supply closet tends to fill several more. Add bins for the kitchen and for anything currently sitting in cardboard.
Labelling and keeping track
- Label by destination room or desk, not by contents alone
- Use removable labels or tags — please do not write on the bins
- Keep one bin per person for personal desk items so nothing goes missing
- Pack files upright so they unload in the same order
Access and timing
Commercial buildings often have loading-dock hours, elevator reservations and security check-in. Tell us those details when you request availability so the delivery and pickup stops are planned around them instead of discovered on the day.
What we do and do not do
We deliver and collect the equipment. We do not pack your files, disconnect equipment, carry furniture or transport anything — if you are using a commercial mover or an IT vendor, the bins work alongside them.
Rental length
Seven days covers most single-suite moves. If your relocation runs in phases, tell us the full schedule up front so we can talk through extensions or a second delivery before anything is booked.
