Every figure above is read live from our inventory and rental records each time this page loads. We don't publish estimates or industry averages as if they were ours.
Lifespan
How long our bins last
An honest answer, because we'd rather report a measurement than a marketing claim.
Reused until it fails
A bin stays in rotation for as long as it is safe and clean: out on a move, back to us, inspected, cleaned, out again. We keep bins in service rather than replacing them on a schedule, and we track every bin individually.
What we can't claim yet
We're a young local service, so we don't yet have a full lifespan figure — a real average needs bins that have run their whole working life with us. Rather than borrow a manufacturer's number, we publish the average trips per bin above and let it grow as our own record builds.
End of life
What happens to a retired bin
No bin leaves us for a landfill if it still has use left in it.
Donated first
When a bin is no longer fit to rent but still holds up, we donate it so it keeps being used for storage instead of being thrown away.
Recycled if it can't be used
A bin that's cracked or unsafe is rigid plastic, and we route it to plastic recycling rather than general trash.
Counted either way
Every retirement is recorded against that specific bin in our inventory, which is where the retired count on this page comes from.
The wider figures you'll see quoted elsewhere — trees per ton of cardboard, boxes per move — are industry estimates from other sources, not measurements of our fleet. We keep them off this page on purpose.
